General:
The Load Crew is responsible for loading animals onto trailers, ensuring the welfare of each animal is being met according to the company's Animal Welfare Policy. The crew follows all safety and animal handling procedures and works together as a team. The position reports to the Load Crew Supervisor and has a primary work schedule on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday for the day shift.
Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
- Catch animals and ensure their welfare during the loading process
- Follow all standards, procedures, and safety protocols
- Maintain and report any equipment issues to the supervisor
- Promote teamwork and actively participate as a crew member
- Report any environmental issues to the supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel to various farms in a company vehicle Sundays and Tuesdays. Thursdays will be onsite.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to perform the following tasks repeatedly: walking, stooping, bending, and climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
