Job Description

For our Logistic Network EMEA team we are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) for a period of 6 months, starting by September, who will actively support us at our Hanover location. The activity takes place both, onsite and remote.

This internship offers you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic international working environment, to get to know the cooperation with various key stakeholders in the Supply Chain division and working in a multidisciplinary matrix organization.

Your tasks include the following activities:

• Collaboration in the optimization of the Logistic Network EMEA
• Support in European tenders in the storage and transport sector
• Operational support of global container management
• Preparation, review and evaluation of logistics reports

Qualifications

• Students in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or comparable field of study, ideally with a specialization/specialization in logistics and/or transport engineering or a comparable field of study
• Basic experience in logistics
• Confident handling of MS Office programs
• Fluent English and very good German language skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to work in a team and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Structured and independent way of working
• Analytical thinking skills and good numerical comprehension
• Independent way of working, high level of commitment, flexibility, creativity
• Teamwork, organizational and communication skills
