Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Lab measurement of RF designs using specific equipment;
• Soldering and build of prototypes;
• Design, prototyping and measurement of antennas used in automotive services (4G/5G, WLAN, Bluetooth etc.).

The student will learn:

• What are the main lab equipment used in RF design & measurement;
• How to solder and build his own prototype;
• How to work with dedicated tools and applications for RF/Antenna design;
• The basics of designing antennas using dedicated simulation SW;
• Comparing simulations with real measurement data, make adjustments and improve the real antenna model;
• Measurements like antenna radiation pattern inside a full anechoic chamber.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in Electronics and Telecommunication;
• Specific technical knowledge required: solid electronic knowledge, especially in circuits, sources and systems (S parameters, Z parameters of a multi-port) and high frequency electrical models;
• Basic antenna structures knowledge and principle of functioning would be a plus;
• Good English understanding, writing and speaking.
