Summary

For the area “Governmental Business Development Germany ‘ we are looking for a ’Governmental Business Development Manager Naval Solutions Germany (f/m/d)” for the HENSOLDT Group with a focus on the German Armed Forces / German Navy with a workplace in Ulm, Berlin, Hamburg, Koblenz or Kiel.

The “Governmental Business Development Germany” department is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential strategic procurement projects for the German Armed Forces. We work closely with all relevant institutional organizations and departments and develop an addressable product portfolio together with the divisions of the HENSOLDT Group.

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for the development and maintenance of networks within the German Navy, the BMVg and the subordinate authorities (Planning Office, BAAINBw)
  • Presentations of the Bundeswehr and derivation of recommendations for action for the Dvision of the HENSOLDT Group and the management
  • Development of technical concepts in close coordination with the requirements of the customer
  • Identification and qualification of emerging procurement projects of the German Navy
  • Responsible for customer management as part of the sales team for campaigns relating to the German Navy, state and federal police
  • Participation in the preparation of analyses of the market and competitive situation in Germany
  • Developing contributions to prepare the management for meetings with high-ranking representatives from politics and the military

Willingness to travel on business is a prerequisite.

Your Profile

  • Completed technical or business studies with a technical focus or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience, including experience in sales, account management or business development
  • Ideally a career as an officer in the German Navy with an understanding of operational requirements and an established network
  • Very good knowledge of the Bundeswehr procurement process as well as the organizational and operational structure of the Bundeswehr
  • Very good market knowledge of the international defense industry
  • Product knowledge and high technical affinity, as well as a strong business development and service mindset
  • Business fluent German and English skills
