Senior HR Business Partner will drive the People Agenda for a group of Genpact Romania employees, adjusting the global and regional HR strategy to the local nuances.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Hire to retire people practices for the allocated teams ensuring local compliance and full adherence to the Genpact HR regional and global practices.
  • Establishes and maintains a good relationship with local management and leadership and offers experienced advice in all matters relating to employment relations.
  • Support deal cycle and growth opportunities with regional nuances and customer interactions.
  • Understand talent needs of the business and give input to staffing & skill development.
  • Owns staffing, retention, engagement, wellbeing, talent development and C&B targets, along with business leaders.
  • Leads the complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Act as C&B owner for the respective functions/businesses (OP planning, bonus and increment, salary analysis, salary approvals, promotions).
  • Owns performance management and succession planning processes.
  • Execute / review & implement HR policies and procedures at region or site level. Change Management.
  • Keep up with labor changes, talent and business landscape and HR initiatives.
  • Continuously assess and refine the HR processes, identifying and driving transformation initiatives.
  • Supports organizational transformation and change processes from HR perspective (including redundancies and ARD transfers).
  • Supports growth projects, as part of the deal cycle, representing the HR stream and front facing customers in such projects.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in English
  • Digital literacy, including HR tools and people analytics.
  • Good expertise on the Romanian employment framework
  • Proven track record in an independent role within HR functions with exposure to leadership
  • Previous experience in employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • CIPD or equivalent HR certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Business Services is preferred. 
  • Previous experience in another jurisdiction is a plus.
  • Passionate HR Professional with high work ethics
  • Continuous learning attitude, willing to stay modern.
  • Resilience and continuous adaptation to change, leads and handles changes.
  • Data driven, with well-articulated thoughts and good influencing skills.
  • Collaboration skills: proactively approaches immediate and extended team for solving problems or building new solutions. 
  • Able to work optimally in a multicultural team.
  • Results oriented and action implementation: setting stretched work standards and timely attaining measurable outcomes.
  • Organized personality with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different projects.
