How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Efficiency and effectiveness of business processes play a significant role in the global E&C organization. The E&C SAP Core Solutions (SAP, Concur, Ariba) are key assets to ensure day to day performance and collaboration between centers, and to facilitate business process convergence across all functions. Our SAP Core Solutions Team is organized with teams spread across the world (USA, France, Germany, Poland, India, China), in order to support multi-center execution of Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects for our customers.

The E&C is launching an ALIGN program aiming to redesign its business processes and implement them on SAP S/4 Hana platform.

The Global SAP SCM & ENG Architect is responsible for the implementation and support of the SAP Solution (Engineering & Supply Chain Management modules: MM, WM, LE, PP). Significant experience in business processes around Engineering and Procurement is required to provide guidance and insights to project team members and business. In addition to the project-based initiatives this position will also be responsible for the day-to-day production support tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the functional and technical solution implemented (for changes and projects) specific to his/her area of responsibility
• Verify that the designed solution fits the overall template (Quality control, consistency, best practices, roadmap, etc.) 
• Play a significant role in technical / functional solution roadmap incl. business initiatives (advising, assessing)
• Configuration of various functions within MM/WM,PP, LE. Experience with PS, PM will be an advantage.
• Collaborate within Architects Team on building POC's and prototypes
• Assess and document business requirements for new functionalities, which may include custom enhancements and custom reports
• Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution and minimize performance impact 
• Design and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs
• Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support related to custom system enhancements and integration points
• Proactively provide status on all activities to appropriate stakeholders
• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems

Reporting line & localisation:

• The Global SAP SCM & ENG Architect reports to the Global E&C Director SAP Competence Center.
• This role is located in Krakow - Poland and may require business trips to various centers of Air Liquide Group.

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering/Procurement, or equivalent work experience
• 6 - 8 years experience in an Information Technology systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into systems specifications
• 2-3 full life-cycle SAP implementations
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in MM/WM/PP/LE modules (ideally in S/4)
• Thorough understanding of the integration with other SAP modules FI & PS
• Experience supporting the integration between SAP and 3rd party auxiliary applications is desirable
• Proven ability to research and assess potential SAP solutions in support of new business requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle implementation and production support
• Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies and tables
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to various stakeholders
• Ability to engage with customers and partners to understand their business needs and priorities, lead requirement gathering and analysis session, design documentation and modeling
• Willingness and ability to travel as required (10-20%)
• Experience with Google Suite (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Slides) is a plus
• Language skills: Fluent English oral & written, (equal C1)
