Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Academic Support Services - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Track research proposals and expenditures and create reports for the Associate Dean of Research.
  • Assist in preparing research proposals submitted by faculty in the Dean's Office.
  • Maintain and prepare grant budget projections, forms, and attachments for proposal submission in GrantsERA and Novelution systems.
  • Search and collect information on research opportunities and disseminate to college faculty.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and calendars for the Associate Dean of Research and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs.
  • Prepare reimbursement, requisitions, and other related documents.
  • Assist with special projects, reports, and information as required by the Associate Dean of Research and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs.
  • Process credentialing for Instructor of Record on Dean's office courses and J-1 applications.
  • Maintain and organize College personnel files and master spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and assist with faculty annual assignments, activity reporting, evaluations, and sustained performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate submission of Sabbatical applications and provide support for promotion, tenure, and third-year reviews.
  • Maintain a list of Faculty/staff/student awards nominations.
  • Provide support for visiting professors and scholar applications.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

One year of appropriate experience if awarded a master's degree.

Salary:

$55,000 - $60,000 per year.
