Key Dimensions

The role of an Accounts Payable Specialist with German is focused on performing accounting and clerical tasks related to efficient maintenance and processing of transactions regarding firm’s suppliers and employees.

Expectations of the role:

Day to day operations

  • Check quality of supporting documentation,
  • Communicate with business regarding coding of invoices, follow Firm’s policies and guidelines
  • Review and post invoices
  • Work with the business to have invoices approved, chase approvers when required
  • Set invoices ready for payment
  • Reconcile payment and accounts
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Generate regular reports
  • Be responsible for assigned KPI’s to meet customer needs
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work
  • Participate in regular process reviews with clients and key stakeholders, as needed
  • Escalate issues and risks to the manager

  • Warsaw - we have hybrid working model with 2 days per week at the office

Education / Qualification

  • High School graduate (or higher), alternatively
  • An individual coming back to the labour market after longer break (unemployed, maternity leave, travel etc.)
  • Finance and Accounting degree (desirable)

Languages

Fluent German and Fluent English

Practical experience

  • Willing to long term perform routine, repetitive tasks,
  • Wanting and ready to work with numbers

Office skills

  • Competent user of Microsoft desktop productivity tools including Excel
