Sr Account Manager 

Honeywell is looking for a Sr Account Manager for our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) division for the Switzerland Region to be a key member of the Airports Vertical Sales Team in Europe. The focus is to utilize your proven sales experience to provide customers with market leading Airfield and Smart building solutions

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling HBT projects & services to new and existing Airports in the Switzerland region and some expanded geographies. This individual will ensure the achievement of an annual sales plan.

As part of your role, you would specialize in key built environment systems, including but not limited to; BMS, Fire, Security, Access, Airfield Ground Lighting, Visual Docking Guidance System, Turnaround Management with a strong-bias on leading Integrated, Sustainability, SaaS and IoT propositions.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Development of new opportunities within existing customers and focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account
  • Management and building customer contacts, serving as the customer’s ambassador, trusted advisor, and advocate
  • Accurate forecast of orders and growth opportunities
  • Understanding of the customer’s business, drivers, and organization, and an understanding of the value that HBS brings to the customer to drive to real business outcomes.
  • Responsible for achievement of Orders, revenue, margin plans and economic value-added goals
  • Dissemination of key messages, initiatives, and of information pertaining to the value HBS brings to that specific customer at all levels of the customer’s organization
  • Being a business partner to the customer, establishing a defensible barrier to competitors, maximizing the business potential of their customers, and acting as the primary supplier interface for all products, solutions and services with the customer
  • Champions the customers’ needs and requirements within the Honeywell organization
  • Work closely with the Management Team, to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Must have:

  • 5+ years in solution sales in Airports Terminal and Airside field and proven track record of success in the business environment
  • Being ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, results orientated, problem solver with a positive outlook and a clear focus on driving profit.
  • Ability to balance between short term achievement and long-term development.
  • Being a natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance.
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of German and English Language skills
