Authoring business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Collaborating with other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting/implementation services.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Role: Individual Contributor

As a Quality Assurance Analyst Associate at Cognizant TriZetto, you will be responsible for working closely with other members of development teams and assisting in the delivery of high quality software by developing and executing test plans to validate functionality and identify problems in software under test. This includes designing and documenting test requirements, executing tests, validating expected results, and logging and retesting defects throughout the entire software development life cycle. You will report on test results, manage defects and perform regression testing.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and document test requirements, execute tests, validate expected results, and log and retest defects.
  • Translate requirements and technical specifications into test scenarios.
  • Execute test plans, verify results, and communicate to the team.
  • Participate in design reviews of business and functional requirements.
  • Gain and apply knowledge of test management tools and processes

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years of healthcare industry experience/Agile scrum team experience.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in facilitation, negotiation, and influencing preferred.
  • Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience preferred.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical Competencies:

  • Functional Testing, Automation Testing - .Net and/or Java applications
  • Experience in automation frameworks like Selenium, Karate
  • Familiarity with software development methodology and quality control methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
