Location: Changping District, Beijing
The position
Take key responsibility in driving analytical technology development for early drug discovery. Use LC-MS proteomics technology to enable target discovery and validation, biology understanding of new therapeutic targets in areas of diabetes, obesity, heart failure, atherosclerosis, chronic kidney disease and MASH. You will be expected to leverage the innovation culture, mentor colleagues, and promote the collaboration culture both internally and globally.
You will be involved in cross-functional project teams with colleagues from many different scientific backgrounds both in China and in global sites located in Denmark (headquarter location), UK and USA. You will be responsible for developing and applying LC-MS proteomics workflows and proactively advance omics capabilities in the department. Moreover, you will be expected to contribute to maturing and advancing scientific ideas into projects within the different therapeutic areas of Novo Nordisk.
You will be referring directly to the department head and your main internal contacts in your daily work will be scientist colleagues, research associates, project members, and managers both in Beijing and global. Furthermore, developing and maintaining a strong external network is also going to be an important part of your work.
