This recruitment will be used to fill 4 part-time (a maximum of 10 hours per week) College of Science Ambassador positions for recruiting new students at Oregon State University (OSU).
College of Science (COS) Ambassadors are current undergraduate students who represent COS through a variety of prospective undergraduate student recruitment events within the College of Science. COS Ambassadors conduct prospective student visit program components including campus COS tours, student panels, group visits, represent COS during recruitment events and large visit programs, and work weekly office hours in the College of Science. Student employees can work within a range of hours (5-10 hours/week) that is flexible with and supports their academic priorities. There are opportunities for COS Ambassadors to participate in off-campus recruitment events and/or multicultural-focused recruitment events.
Successful candidates enjoy working with people, have a wide range of life experiences and an eagerness to promote Oregon State University and the College of Science to prospective students and their families. COS Ambassadors receive ample and ongoing training to prepare them to be successful in this job.
