Job Mission: 

The Business System Manager (BSM) is in charge to manage Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain module and the multiple integration/interfaces with all the upstream and downstream applications of the End-To-End Supply Chain through 3 main Core activities in QCT (Quality, Cost, Time): Project Management, Build and Run. 

The BSM is accountable of the Operating Model of the Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain module by being responsible for delivering technology/digital projects and ensuring the run (maintenance & support) of the existing systems.

The BSM is the Business Partner and works closely with the key Supply Chain and IT stakeholders (global, regional, and local) to: 

  • Ensure alignment of new supply chain operations requirements with business, finance and supply chain strategy whilst adhering to IT principles, governance, and strategy. 
  • Drive/ deliver the supply chain operations projects based on aligned priorities. 
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance (cf. lifecycle) and support of the existing systems running Operations & After-Sales. 

The position focused on the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Operations flows from “Direct Procurement to Pay” to “Order to Cash” processes within the operating regions & markets legal entities: 

  • Management of the stock, supply, and distribution of the Sellable and Non-Sellable items to the Chanel customers, retail boutiques and clients. 
  • Management of the After-Sales Repair Workshops: repair claims, supply, and consumption of the stock of spare parts and accessories.
  • Updating, maintaining, and upholding the target Technology/ Digital landscape of the Supply Chain Operations systems and tools.
  • Ensuring communication and alignment with local, regional, and global IT counterparts to ensure ongoing transparency and alignment on project plans, resources, and timelines.

In the context of the Global program of ERP transformation by implementing D365 Finance & Supply Chain as a unified Chanel solution, the Business System Manager Supply Chain Operations will be the IT Supply Chain Functional Leader of APAC. 

The Business System Manager manages the relationship with:

The Business Process Owners and Experts of her/his functional area:

  • Regional Corporate Supply Chain team in charge of the direct procurement from the Global divisions and regional vendors, and revoicing to the markets, the freight forwarding, the relationship with the market supply chain teams for custom clearance. 
  • Regional and Local Supply Chain teams in charge of the direct procurement from the Regional Corporate and local vendors, the execution of the custom clearance, the stock on hand, the distribution to the local customers and boutiques and the relationship with the Local Distribution Centers.
  • Regional and Local After-Sales Supply Chain teams supporting repair operations in the workshops located in the markets.

The IT Solution Experts and External Vendors of her/his area of applications:

  • Regional ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX): Internal Experts in Global Corporate AX domain, Regional APAC Finance Domain, and Regional External Vendor in offshore. 
  • Global Corporate ERP (Microsoft Dynamics D365): Internal Experts in Global Corporate ERP domain, Regional APAC Finance Domain, and Global External Vendor in offshore.
  • Global After-Sales (D365 & Dynamics AX): Internal Experts in Global Supply Chain domain.

Work Experience

  • Degree or above, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field. 
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in similar role of being responsible for hands-on project delivery and hands-on support management.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in Business System Analyst role in the ERP supply chain and distribution operations area with proven experience in translating business requirements into technical language.
  • Experienced in managing end-to-end digital/ IT project life cycles and leading projects involving multiple internal/ external, local/ regional/ global stakeholders.
  • Experience working at a Regional level (with multiple global and market entities).
  • Experience in retail desired (in luxury and fashion retail is a plus).
