Print Marketing Specialist

General Summary:
The Print Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of various marketing programs. This position will partner with cross functional teams within marketing, merchandising, store ops, pricing and other areas of the company to drive and execute marketing programs and deliver to the stores. The individual will have duties related to ensuring the accurate production of marketing and print materials driving promotional initiatives. The specialist will be required to collaborate with internal and external partners to drive promotions. The Specialist, In-Store Marketing is responsible for contributing to development of marketing strategies and programs and leading projects as assigned. This position is responsible for embracing Family Dollar’s store-centric commitment to customers, customer service and sales through flawless execution and continuous improvements.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BA or BS with concentration in Marketing, finance or Business required;
Experience: 5 or more years in a marketing role or retail capacity and/or equivalent experience
Job Related Skills: Attention to detail; Excellent communication, both verbal and written; ability to manage projects through the life cycle; ability to build and maintain cross functional partnerships; ability to learn and utilize new processes and new technology; ability to conduct and ROI analysis; ability to present to senior leadership; strong organizational and priority setting skills.
Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required; some knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus; some exposure to retail software systems a plus
