Founded in 1892, the Department of Economics is a national and international leader in economics. The Department’s central missions are to train students at the undergraduate and graduate level in the methods and ideas of modern economics, and to conduct both basic and applied research in economics that pushes forward the frontier of knowledge in the field. With 40+ faculty, 4 lecturers, 150+ graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, 200+ undergraduates, and 13 staff, the Department is breaking new ground in pioneering research that analyses and proposes solutions to some of the biggest challenges in society today. Economics is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance & Operations (Assistant DFO) that provides high-quality financial and administrative support to faculty, staff, and graduate students as the department's subject matter expert on finance and administrative policies, processes, and systems. Prior relevant experience at Stanford University and/or other higher education institutions strongly preferred.

The expected pay range for this position is $79,000 to $118,000 per annum.
