Our Start-up Factory and Product Integration (ES/A) Center connects start-up and series production worldwide: preventively, professionally and in partnership. Through the digital and physical construction of pre-series vehicles and professional ramp-up management, we ensure series production capability for the product and process together with our partners.

Our department (ES/APL) is responsible for the integration of new type vehicle projects as well as change years and model updates for the S-Class, the EQS and the new, all-electric AMG.EA platform.

In the area of product integration, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the vehicle development processes through to ensuring series production capability and can get to know the tasks of a sub-project manager while playing a key role in the vehicles of the future from Mercedes-Benz.

You will have these tasks, among others

• Supporting project management in the management of new type and model maintenance projects (e.g. preparation and follow-up of project appointments, updating schedules, creating presentation documents)
• Accompanying our vehicles during assembly
• Collaboration and implementation of interdisciplinary working groups
• Recording, analyzing, documenting and tracking any problems that arise
• Familiarization with analysis and evaluation methods
• Collaboration in the selection and coordination of suitable remedial and optimization measures
• Creating and presenting project documents for documentation and decision-making purposes

Qualifikationen

Ideally you have the following:

• Degree in engineering or business administration or a comparable course of study
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office and an affinity for digitalization
• Open-minded and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and quick comprehension
• Organizational skills

The start date of August 2024 is flexible and the internship can also start later. However, a minimum duration of 4 months applies. Please indicate in your application when you would like to start.
