DHL Global Forwarding Ethiopia has an opening for an IP Project Manager where you will be responsible the efficient running of IP Projects & Operations. Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

In this IP Project Manager position

• You will improve Industrial project service levels and internal KPI’s.
• You will improve Customer satisfaction and adherence to Customer SLA’s
• You will develop and motivate staff as well as improve IP industry compliance, company policies and productivity.
• You will liaise with external stakeholders being DHL Customer base, DHL Suppliers and DHL Partners.
• You will liaise with internal stakeholders being OFR Product, AFR Product, LMS Product, RFR Product, Sales (BDM’s) & Customer Service (KAM’s), Regional Management E Cape & KZN and Country Management PM/RO/IT for functions and support.
• You will ensure IP compliance with Industry and Internal DGF policies and standards.
• You will participate in customer solutions development and implementation of new accounts.
• You will ensure IP is optimally resourced to meet service standard.
• You will visit customers to maintain customer relationships, research customer needs and monitor customer satisfaction.
• You will maintain relationship with suppliers and manage supplier performance.
• You will monitor IP, Customer, and shipment profitability as well as assist with estimates and RFQs/tenders.
• You will ensure timely processing of invoices in line with DGF financial control.
• You will ensure continuous improvement by implementing First Choice, Station Improvements, and adherence to quality policies.
• You will produce weekly, monthly reports and other ad-hoc reports as maybe required by management.
• You will develop a high-performance service culture within the functional department.
• You will plan, organize, and direct an effective and efficient functional department.
• You will develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance and consult performance management.
• You will manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
• You will identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

• Must have a metric
• Degree or diploma will be an advantage
• 5 years relevant industry experience in a managerial role
• 3 years commercial/key account management
