What’s the job? 

The Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and activities that drive awareness, consideration and applications for Torrens University. Marketing campaigns include advertising, social media, digital and direct marketing, experiential activities, events and collateral development. 

Key to this role is working closely with faculty and other stakeholders to develop and execute the campaigns that support the business in achieving its strategic goals. 

We have an exciting role for a Marketing Executive wanting to gain full-funnel marketing experience. The benefit of full-funnel marketing means executives gain experience in crafting strategy across all marketing channels and touchpoints in the customer journey. 

The position is open to work in any of our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne campuses. We offer flexible working arrangements with a mix of work from home and in the office. 

Day-to-day accountabilities: 

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Increase brand awareness 
  • Achieve the lead, applications and new enrolment targets 
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in digital, advertising, direct marketing, social media, experiential, publications and events 
  • Create amazing content for website, social media, direct marketing channels and collaterals 
  • Ownership of social media, course collaterals and sales tool

This is a full-time permanent role in hybrid set up in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne campuses. 

Who you are 

This is a great role for someone is passionate about Marketing and is eager to learn. You could be a recent graduate, a Marketing Coordinator looking at taking a next step or simply someone who has some experience in Marketing with transferable skills and looking at changing careers. Ideally, you will have: 

  • Previous marketing experience including campaign planning (across digital and/or traditional channels), events, content development, collateral and social media 
  • Experience editing and creating website content (basic HTLM or understanding of website platforms) 
  • Experience in rolling out social media campaigns (we use Loomly and Emplifi) 
  • Experience working on marketing social plans for organic (create assets, develop content) 
  • Demonstrated project management/event experience/stakeholder liaison 
  • Ideally experience with planning and working on video/photo shoots 
  • Able to work with and manage multiple stakeholders
