THE ROLE:
Technical leader responsible for Graphics Systems support and enablement at Hardware and Software level for worldwide AMD Embedded customers. Systems are integrated combinations of hardware components (CPUs, graphics, memory, IO adapters, peripherals, and BMCs) and software components (firmware, drivers, OS, virtualization, and system management). This individual will interface with the AMD Field (FAE’s and Sales), Marketing, Software, Systems Engineering, and Validation teams to assist with issues reported by AMD Embedded Customers.
THE PERSON:
The individual will work in the Graphics competency for Windows and most specially for Linux based solutions. The individual will assist in review, bring-up and debug of hardware/software designs for internal and external designs and will provide solutions to internal and external customers. The candidate will generate technical reports, frequently asked questions, application note, white papers, and use-case analysis relevant to AMD Embedded customers. The successful candidate must have an intimate knowledge of PC architecture, graphics architecture and related IP. The candidate must be highly motivated, innovative, and be able to work in a fast paced environment with out of the box thinking. The individual must be able to quickly analyze different customer scenarios to come up with the best approach to tackle tough problems. There must be a keen interest in finding and resolving platform, system, and chip failures. This role is in an intense but rewarding environment
