This role will provide reporting, technical and operational support to the marketing team. The role may contribute to strategy and should be expected to offer ideas for improving reporting, tracking and performance measurement. The person filling the role must have both strong written and verbal English communication skills. You must also be comfortable reporting in the Mumbai office and working flexible hours, as there will be times you will need to be available for calls during typical US business hours. 

The ideal candidate will combine comfort with technology, problem solving and strategic thinking with an ability to effectively understand and communicate quantitative results. He/She should have experience in utilizing various data analytics tools, with a focus on leveraging data for marketing strategies and campaigns. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze audience/user data sets, optimize marketing performance, and drive business growth.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Google Analytics, GTM and other analytics platforms to track, analyze, and report on website traffic, user behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
  • Leverage email platforms such as Intercom or Customer.io to develop targeted and personalized email marketing campaigns.
  • Work with audience/user data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for marketing optimization.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Apply expertise in digital media and/or SaaS to optimize marketing efforts across various channels.
  • Utilize HubSpot and Salesforce to manage and track marketing campaigns, leads, and customer interactions.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills to analyze and manipulate large data sets effectively.
  • Be comfortable working with numbers and translating data into actionable insights for marketing initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Google Analytics certification preferred.
  • Manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) setups for various websites and platforms.
  • Email platforms (intercom or customer.io preferred)
  • Experience working with audience/user data sets for marketing purposes.
  • Experience in digital media and/or SaaS.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookup, and data visualization techniques.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and analyzing complex data sets.

Good to have:

  • Experience with Google Data Studio
  • Coding experience
  • WordPress experience
  • Experience in website UI/UX design/optimization

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in word and excel; and
  • Credible and resourceful.
