Meet the team:

The Manager, Program Management and Quality Compliance Operations, is a hybrid role and expected to manage and set direction to the local team as well as perform non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, from initiation to delivery. The successful candidate is expected to collaborate within the cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System Process. The role will functionally report to the Director of Technical Program Management and Administratively to the Head of Corporate Shared Services in the GBS. The candidate will collaborate within the Corporate Compliance Team and internal stakeholders. The candidate is expected to adapt to change and work efficiently.

As People Manager: 

  • You will lead, mentor & manage a high-performing Corporate Quality Compliance team in the GBS fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • You will manage team performance and ensure delivery of assigned projects/programs
  • You will manage escalations of operational and project/program issues to concerned leaders
  • You will collaborate with functional experts on the development and delivery of training programs to ensure team is equipped in the latest industry knowledge and best practices.
  • You will be accountable to ensure the training programs supports the development needs of the team in the GBS.
  • You will coordinate with Global leadership to ensure consistency across people development, processes, and industry updates.
  • You will serve as a local leadership for the cross-functional Corporate Quality Compliance functions.

As Project Manager:

  • You will monitor projects from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules, assessing scope and monitoring budget/spending.
  • You will coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings, monitoring team performance and progress of specific projects to timely completion both and within budget.
  • You will assist in determining objectives of assignment. Plan schedules and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • You will work on complex issues & problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation or identifiable factors.
  • Network with senior internal and external colleagues in own area of expertise
  • You will exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • You will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • You will determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other colleagues.
  • You will identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies in cross-functional communication and coordination.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You have a wide-range experience and using professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • You possess knowledge of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Your viewed as expert in the field within the function.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience; higher degrees can substitute for years of experience. 
  • Your 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
  • Your experience in managing cross-functional projects.
  • Your excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey quality, and business information clearly and effectively verbally or through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Must work well independently or within a cross-functional team environment. 
  • Your relevant work experience in medical device
  • Your technical background such as engineering, biological sciences, and computer science to support collaboration with technical teams
