This exciting new role will be far from a managerial role, and youll be very hands-on and intensely focused on developing advanced time series forecasting models for real-world industry specific initiatives. As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of research and development, focusing on the design, build, train, and deployment of models.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large volumes of time series data and help build n=multi timeseries models to forecast Distribution Center labor needs to avoid being under or overstaffed to ensure high quality of the services.
  • Design, build, test, and implement anomaly detections on time-series data utilizing the latest unsupervised models.
  • Perform experiments and comparative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of different model architectures and fine-tune hyperparameters for optimal performance.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present solutions to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a client-facing capacity, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • PhD or MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or in a related Mathematical or Computational Engineering major (or equivalent research experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with extensive background in deep learning networks using TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, or similar.
  • At least 5+ years of extensive experience in Time-Series Forecasting and Modeling (Prophet, Neural Prophet, DeepAR, LSTM/RNN, Darts) is required.
  • 8+ years of experience writing and deploying production quality models in languages such as Python.
  • Expert in the evaluation of time series models and back-testing
  • Knowledge of ARIMA, SARIMA, SARIMAX, EWMA, and other time series approaches is desired.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in using data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions.
  • Experience with Python scripts to drive data science workflows, have experience using SQL, and managing and merging of disparate data sources statistical analysis and data mining algorithms.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Having participated in Kaggle or other DL competitions
  • Relentlessly staying on top of the state-of-the-art AI/ML papers
  • Having had to deploy a model with aggressive inference speed requirements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills..
