Why is this role really critical to us? 

Ensure that Vodafone Integration Services Up & Running with pro-active perspective on production. 

This Position is accountable for managing all of the integration applications (Tibco , Osm , Netmera, etc ,Kafka Applications and databases , Cloud Services for Postpaid&Prepaid customers etc), BTK services (Mernis etc) ), also responsible for all integration related actions of new projects.and resolving customer incidents or requests during the daily operations. 

How will you spend your time at Vodafone?

  • To ensure the successful ongoing operation and coordination of related Integration Services.
  • As a service owner, to have end to end ownership of the Vodafone customer experience, the quality of service performance and the processes supporting the product/service.
  • Responsible of daily operational activities and availibility of systems.
  • Investigating problems, finding root cause of the problems.
  • Deployment of new products and services.
  • Implementing change management processes and user requests.
  • Periodic monitoring of systems for performance bottlenecks.
  • Performance tuning of applications to ensure business needs and agreed SLAs are met.
  • Responsible for reporting to stakeholders on product performance and supplier/partner performance.
  • Incident and error handling for application errors.
  • Ownership of capacity planning to secure availability and performance of the platforms and systems against forecasted growth and demand.
  • Customer oriented. 
  • Excellent skills in Communication and Stakeholder Management 
  • Analyse new/upcoming technologies and to evaluate their impacts on current systems/environment
  • Provide assistance in new projects during following stages : designing, initiation, operation 
  • Quality assurance of new and existing Order Releted and Integration Related Services
  • Assurance of predefined KPIs. 
  • Create necessary alarms for new projects
  • Responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and monitoring any issues for Order Management (OSM), Tibco sytems and Installation and configuration of Weblogic, Websphere and Load Balancer.
  • Ownership of capacity planning to secure availability and performance of the platforms against forecasted growth and demand.
  • Ownership of the product/service functionality to ensure it meets operational needs for performance management and reporting.
  • Ensure that, business processes to support and manage the service are developed, rolled out are not impacted adversely by any changes to the product/service
  • Introduce Best Practice Policies and Guidelines relating to products, licensing and support.
  • Accountable for improving operating costs for the product/service.
  • Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
  • Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
  • Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
  • Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
  • Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
  • Protect user accounts and associated passwords , and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.

You are just the person we ve been looking for, if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from Computer, Electronics and other related fields.
  • High level of expertise in service incident handling and troubleshooting
  • Excellent Problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of statistical Analysis (Data analysis, Trend analysis etc) 
  • Good command of English. 
  • Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR
  • Technical qualifications:

o Basic knowledge of Cloud Services , Openshift platforms , Microservices vs.

o Basic knowledge of App Dynamics,Grafana,Kibana Tools.

o Significant experience in using SQL , PL/SQL ,PostGreSql .(Min 2 years)

o Significant experience in UNIX and shell scripting. (Min 3 years)

o Ability to use analytical, network security, network monitoring, and administration software programs.

o Ability to work in flexible work hours under pressure and tight deadlines.

o Ability to use Jenkins, RPA,UC4 and HPOO automation tools knowledge and experience at least 1 year

o Experience on OSM applcation is a plus

o Experience on Tibco application is a plus
