The Johnson & Johnson MedTech Health Economics and Market Access Intern (HEMA) team shapes the innovation strategy, delivers differentiated evidence, unlocks reimbursement & market access and disseminates evidence for innovative medical technology.

The team is recruiting for an intern to support evidence generation projects and dissemination initiatives in the EMEA region. These projects will support the efforts to quantify the value of important innovation in support of patient access. This is done through a collaborative approach understanding bottlenecks, critically assessing clinical and health economic evidence of our technologies and translating the knowledge in a way to influence internal and external partners.

The EMEA HEMA Intern will learn key competencies including (i) performing literature reviews (ii) turning this evidence into the development of value propositions (iii) learning how the evidence propositions can be used to support one or more of the following: new evidence generation, claims development and/or value-based selling tools (E.g. value based procurement frameworks for delivering value and evidence to shape tenders). The intern will be involved in foundational HEMA activities aiming at facilitating EMEA health technology assessment (HTA) and market access uptake to payers and providers.

  • Supporting literature searches/reviews on clinical & health economic evidence
  • Critically assess published clinical and health economic evidence
  • Analyzing and drawing insights from data
  • Supporting creation of content for countries to execute value-based strategies
  • Supporting global projects and/or process improvement initiatives 
  • Assisting with reviewing or adapting simple health economic tools
  • Support of local affiliates in local evidence summaries development
