TITLE: Cloud Software Engineer II- Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead a high-performing global team of cloud engineers and software developers.
• Develop and implement cloud automation strategies and methodologies, with a strong focus on providing a self service experience.
• Establish guidelines and patterns to implement a Global SaaS cloud architecture.
• Define Service Level Indicators and Objectives for components of the platform.
• Oversee the design and implementation of automation modules.
• Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate applications with the platform built-in CI/CD solution.
• Champion the adoption of best practices in CI/CD and SRE principles.
• Develop and implement a thorough telemetry framework that allows visibility into the current performance and behavior of the platform.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in Terraform and Azure cloud.
• Lead debugging and troubleshooting efforts, utilizing your deep technical expertise, to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones and regions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to DevOps, SRE, and cloud products.
• Act as a thought leader by providing guidance and mentorship to team members and sharing insights with the broader organization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud automation and CI/CD processes.
• Prepare and present regular cost and performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

• Experience working in engineering teams leveraging Cloud-native technologies in a SaaS space with focus on automation, performance, scale, security, and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (10+ years) in software development and cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong background in using provisioning tools specially Terraform.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and lead a global team effectively.
• Experience with implementing cloud-based products and services.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience integrating self service principles into Cloud provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in implementing an Internal Developer Platform.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
• Thought leadership in the field of performance testing and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
