Indirect Tax Operations Lead
About the role: The Indirect Tax Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the Indirect Tax Managers and the Indirect Tax Director in the management of the Indirect Tax team located in Dublin. This will include managing a team in all aspects of preparation of VAT compliance, audits, advisory and transformational projects across specified territories or operational responsibility. This role is part of the Indirect Tax Management Team.
The role has a strong emphasis on leadership and people management in a high performance team and will be required to provide direction to team members within the Operations Team. The role will also require engagement with business partners to understand the businesses, ensure VAT compliance requirements are met, assess opportunities to maximise VAT efficiency and provide assistance in the management of VAT audits. The Indirect Tax Operations Lead is encouraged to build strong relationships across Pfizer, including within Global Tax, with the VAT accounting team in the Controllers organisation, with Global Business Services teams, with local Market Finance teams and other relevant stakeholders.
