As a Senior Material Handler at ATCO, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, directly impacting our daily logistics and overall business efficiency. This position involves a comprehensive range of activities including advanced inventory management, meticulous coordination of incoming and outgoing materials, and maintaining systematic control of stock levels. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and safety of warehouse operations, enhancing our ability to meet project timelines and customer demands.

What You Get to Do: 

  • Ensure accuracy in inventory levels through regular monitoring, analysis, and participation in cycle counts.
  • Handle the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring all associated documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
  • Fill and prepare material orders for various work orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely execution.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment, such as forklifts, and provide support at the warehouse counter.
  • Assist in the investigation of inventory discrepancies and ensure that inventory practices meet company standards.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry and the preparation of routine warehouse reports.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • A valid Alberta driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
  • At least three (3) years of related experience in a warehousing environment; certification in warehousing/logistics is an asset.
  • Certification as electric forklift operator, Standard First Aid, TDG, and WHMIS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel.
