Role Overview:

The Branding and Communication Officer plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand image of the organization. Reporting directly to the Branding and Communication Manager, this position involves planning, creative execution, and effective communication to enhance brand visibility, engage stakeholders, and drive growth opportunities.

The mission of the Branding and Communications officer is entrusted, but not limited to the following activities and responsibilities:

Graphic design and communication:

  • Coordinating with agencies for content development, creation of communication, and promotional material that align with the brand identity.
  • Publication of advertising materials, the information on and training articles in the specialized publications.
  • Creation and management of printed material including advertisements, posters, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist in the development of Videos and other content for the company.
  • Update social media from time to time and help in content generation.
  • Assist on the In house newsletters (hygiene check – copy, layout & brand colors)
  • Support organizing and conducting exhibitions, events, conference, etc., and to back up the Brand Comms manager in planning, branding, building up stalls, etc. including:
  • Hotel booking
  • Sourcing of corporate apparel/giveaways for employees for the event
  • Room allocation
  • Co-ordination with event planner for the execution of the event
  • Update Website and web-related activities like the HUB
  • To ensure that the Brand Identity Manual of the Company is followed in all aspects related to communications and branding

Integrated Communication /Stakeholder Management:

  • Assist the marketing teams and support functions with all tasks related to Branding and Communications
  • Co-ordinate with the Non-Production Purchase committee to procure gifts, and giveaways as per Epiroc Way.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide regional content for divisional campaigns and channels.
  • Manage giveaways and branded merchandize inventory and provide reports as and when required
  • Assist with Vendor management support in obtaining quotes, comparisons and clearing of invoices, and squaring off advances
  • Vendor payment follow-up with the internal accounts team
  • Vendor registration
  • Vendor Purchase order creation
  • Coordination and making of POs, Invoice clearing, Advances, and maintaining budgets, and estimates.
  • Collaboration with vendors and Finance Departments for smooth communication activities
  • CSR Communications and support for activities required for CSR.
  • Support in Partner communication and Partner communication-related activities

Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field(preferably)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in branding, communications, project management, or marketing roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for brand consistency and quality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of design principles and graphic design software is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, and content management systems will be a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to generally work unsupervised and use personal initiative in progressing own work.
  • A flexible approach, able to cope with a complex and constantly changing environment and priorities, work under pressure, and handle variable workloads.
  • A good communicator with the ability to deal with people effectively and with authority, including at the senior management level within Epiroc and all other external and customer interfaces.
  • Ability to adapt and utilize the AI tools that are related to communications and creative productions. (Canva, Chat GPT, etc.)
  • Excellent skills in MS Office; PPT, Word, and Excel.
