IT Technical Support 

Location : Cambridge - MA

Roles and responsibilities :-

  • Manages Break-fix, digital desk, SharePoint (centralized services), etc. for demand for Research users in the office. 
  • Focused on Non-Lab support
  • Point of escalation for issues related to the site outside of the Lab environment. Hardware, network, infrastructure, etc.
  • Synthesize Service Now reporting and distributing consistently.
  • Local point of escalation for Non-Lab issues from laptops, printers, audio visuals, MS Office, Enterprise Applications, etc.
  • Build up relationship with sites on the East Coast – e.g. DSP / Business and local Research teams
  • Review and update the support matrix for the site – e.g. which services are managed via Digital Services / which are managed by local teams
  • Guide teams and local suppliers to follow / go through the defined Astellas IT process (Digital Desk / ITIL processes e.g. incident / problem / change / Self Service Portal etc.)
  • Point of escalation for issues related to non-Lab environment
  • Interface to DAT providers such as Verizon, CAC, etc.
  • Works closely with DSP Manager, DAS Lead to ensure site's DAT needs are meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Reports into Digital Collaboration and workplace lead
