Contracts Manager 

About the role 

The Contracts Manager reports to the Contracts Director and is a member of the company’s growing legal team. This person will with work closely with sales, finance and other business teams to review, analyze, revise and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts. You’ll also be point on maintaining and administering the contract management system. 

As a Contracts Manager you will: 

  • Manage and coordinate the full contracts cycle from initial request and review through drafting, negotiation, execution, and archiving in a high-volume environment in adherence to SLA’s and company policies and procedures. 
  • Work on a broad scope of agreements including software licensing agreements, master services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, channel reseller and distributor agreements, data processing agreements and vendor agreements. 
  • Interact with internal teams daily and provide responses to legal requests as needed. 
  • Review and respond to designated questions in customer-supplied questionnaires, RFPs/RFIs and supplier registration portals. 
  • Maintain a precise and organized contracts repository so agreements are effortless to obtain. 
  • Enhance internal processes, documentation and best practices. 
  • Create and prepare documentation, reports, and tracking mechanisms to support contract management activities and contractual rights and obligations. 
  • Route contracts for signature leveraging e-signature software. 
  • Process purchase orders and invoices of law firms and legal vendors 
  • Assist in other projects for the Legal department, including contract process and management efficiencies, improvements, innovation and training. 

We are looking for you if you have: 

  • 5 years’ contracts experience in a SaaS company and a proven ability to manage a high volume of contracts. 
  • Experience with contract management systems; Ironclad a plus. 
  • Organized and focused on details. 
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneDrive, Sharepoint); experience with SalesForce plus. 
  • This role is hybrid based out of Somerville, MA. Candidate should be local and within commutable distance to our Headquarters
