This position has statewide duties but is primarily responsible for inspections in the southern part of the state.
This position will report to the Tifton office regularly for meetings, training, and other assignments.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
1. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, biological sciences, or a directly related field.
2. Master Beekeeper or at least five (5) years of beekeeping experience. Commercial beekeeping experience desired.
3. Working knowledge of smartphones and apps as well as Windows computer operating systems and applications.

Vocational/Technical degree in agriculture, horticulture, environmental science, pest control, entomology or a closely related field from an accredited college AND One year of experience in a directly related area OR Two years of college which included 12 semester hours or 20 quarter hours in chemistry or life sciences AND One year of experience in a directly related area OR Two years of experience required at the lower level Agriculture Inspector 1 (RCT040) or position equivalent.
