The Global MMB SME Growth Leader will support global and regional business owners across MMB, Marsh and Mercer to develop and execute distribution strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Small Employer segment.

We will rely on you to:

  • Develop Lead Generation and Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective lead generation and sales strategies to penetrate the global SME market, identifying new business opportunities and maximizing revenue potential
  • Team Leadership and Capability Development: Review and build sales and distribution capabilities including identifying, hiring, leading, motivating, and mentoring a global community of SME sales and growth leaders, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their sales targets
  • Accelerating Growth: Work with teams across MMB, Marsh and Mercer to evaluate opportunities for collaboration towards organic and inorganic commercial acceleration of this segment by encouraging an SME growth mindset
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings within the SME sector. Utilize this information to influence and refine product offerings and marketing activities through collaboration with relevant global, regional and local stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams all over the world including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Utilize sales analytics tools to track sales performance, analyze data, and generate regular reports for senior management. Use insights to make data-driven decisions (including fine-tuning remuneration model) and optimize sales efforts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

What you need to have: 

  • Strong understanding of SME market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape;
  • Experience working across cultures and organizational boundaries ideal;
  • Deep experience in SME sales leadership roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or global context with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong influencing skills and collaborative mind-set with the ability to engage and connect across colleagues of all working and management levels, equipped with a “can-do” attitude and adaptability;
  • “Outside-of-the-box”, creative, results-oriented and entrepreneurial mind-set;
  • Rich experience in Affinity & Partnership Distribution, Consumer or Direct Marketing is an advantage;
  • Curious, motivated and forward-thinking.
