Manager/AVP - Java Developer

Gurugram

Join our Equity Derivatives and Trading Risk Technology team, which builds and supports a suite of in-house developed applications used by front office, middle office, risk management, and finance teams.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and clarify requirements, design, implement, and test code, as well as coordinate and execute releases. You will also need to manage operations support tasks in a dynamic DevOps environment to ensure the stability of the production environment.

What you offer

  • 10 to 14 years of experience in core Java development, with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Unix/Linux environments, and building web services.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and messaging technologies (e.g., MQ, Solace, Kafka).
  • Experience with the Scrum Agile framework and SDLC tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
  • Experience working with business users in financial institutions and the ability to navigate and solve problems independently with minimal instruction.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit tests to ensure sufficient test coverage and to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
