Job Responsibilities

• Advise internal business and product teams on regulatory issues, commercial transaction structure, and company guidelines and policies.
• Draft, review, advise, and negotiate a wide range of contracts about purchase and sell, supply, payment, employment, and services agreements, as well as other legal documents arising from the day-to-day operation of the business.
• Identify, research, develop, and analyze company policies, regulatory change, compliance requirements, and general legal and risk management issues.
• Manage government inquiries, dispute settlements, and litigations.
• Manage external counsel engagements and liaise with them on a project or regulatory basis.

Qualifications and Experience

• A law degree from Taiwan law school, LLM/JD preferred but not required
• Be qualified to practice law in Taiwan and/or the United States.
• 7+ years' legal experience, including 1-3 years experience in a law firm (preferably an international law firm)
• Have a Passion for technology, and the digital and e-commerce industry and enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong people skills and teamwork spirit.
• Well-organized and able to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously promptly.
• Fluent Mandarin and English reading and writing skills in legal documents are essential.
