Position Summary

Main responsibility for the position is to plan, create and manage integrated marketing communication, campaigns for Samsung Consumer Electronics (CE) division (VD = TVs and soundbars, DA = mainly refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and washing machines, IT = SSD / memory) for Czech and Slovakian markets. That consists of media planning, adoption/localization of global marketing assets, creation of local creative/graphic materials, and cooperation and management of other marketing teams regarding CE products.

Role and Responsibilities

In collaboration with external agencies and other marketing managers plan and execute integrated communication campaigns for dedicated product groups. Set KPIs, measure, and report on the effectiveness of the communication. Deliver regular reports of campaign results and evaluation of set KPIs (both awareness and sales). Look for new, innovative, and effective ways of communication relevant to target audiences.

Act as a brand guardian, and secure brand communication consistency, both internally and externally. Localize global brand content provided by HQ and European HQ and complete the picture with attractive and relevant local content ensuring its full integration with business unit requests.

Ensure also, that all communication campaigns are in line with a common Samsung Czech and Slovak vision and approach to the market while supporting the specific needs arising from each business unit served. In collaboration with sales and product management departments work on local promotions including overall strategy and creativity.

Brief and oversee the work of contracted external agencies – two media agencies (one for each market) and one creative agency. Work with a significant budget for media communication and for production while having on mind continuous aim for costs optimization and cost/quality optimization.

Ensure effective dialogue with the Head of Marketing and other marketing colleagues (PR, social) and each business unit (including the e-commerce team) to align all activities carried out within the company. The position reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Skills and Qualifications

Key skills

  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar marketing role
  • Previous experience with product/service launches (go-to-market) is an advantage
  • Deep understanding of media planning
  • Analytical skills, experience with setting and evaluating campaign KPIs
  • Previous experience with media and creative agency management
  • University degree (in marketing is an advantage)
  • Excellent English skills (both written and spoken)
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) - advanced skills
