Our Marketing department is seeking a Senior Sales Excellence Administrator to join our growing team at Hanover. 

Position summary:

Reporting to the Zone or Regional Executive, The Regional Vice President is responsible for driving profitable growth in the assigned state(s). The Regional Vice President leads the execution of the CORE (middle market and small commercial) businesses operating plans, new business development, retention, and distribution management. The RVP leads and coordinates Enterprise-Wide strategies across assigned territory; is accountable for top-line growth and collaborates with all Specialty Business to achieve those results. The RVP reviews and resolves complex issues, develops local market plans, oversees the team’s achievement of portfolio actions and interfaces with team members to provide a high level of customer service for agency partners, claims, risk control, service center, and policy processing. Leads a middle market team and coaches assigned teams from respective business units. Leads and executes Hanover Strategy in accountable markets. 

This is a Full-time, Exempt role.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Provide robust planning, organization, and project management for Sales Excellence programming: including future planning.
  • Build and manage project plans for a variety of initiatives and programs.
  • Schedule and coordinate regular touchpoint meetings.
  • Keep Sales Excellence team members informed of progress and challenges.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, recommend changes for streamlining processes, process improvement and work coverage.
  • Act as a resourceful self-starter, able to work in an agile and flexible environment with limited direction.
  • Effectively project manage critical logistics for small and large events, including virtual learning programs, in-person learning programs and the National Sales Meeting including, but not limited to:
  • Management of project plans
  • Registration and invitations
  • Event planning
  • Draft participant and instructor communication
  • Material design, editing and proofing.
  • Digital dexterity (particularly with effectively managing hybrid meetings and leveraging technology such as Microsoft teams and other capabilities that support teamwork and collaboration)
  • On-site support, when needed.
  • Post-session surveys and aggregation of results, with the ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Support content management and overall content development
  • Provide curriculum design and editor support for training material including, workbooks and instructor guides, demonstrating a strong attention to details.
  • Assist with instructional design, customizing program content to the needs of our target audiences.
  • Organize and maintain learning and meeting information, providing instructors with a library of available resources.
  • Manage certification programs including leadership and participant communications.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint sites including, but not limited to The Distribution Hub and Sales Playbooks.
  • Drive process changes and improvements - including the overall coordination and completion of general administrative and logistical responsibilities such as the creation/maintenance of the Sales Excellence calendar.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced administrative skills and support
  • Proven project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills demonstrating a strong sense of urgency with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of information.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated agility and flexibility to handle changing tasks and demands.
  • Problem-solving, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with individuals at all levels internally and external to the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other digital tools supporting the hybrid work environment
  • Motivated self-starter who works both independently and as a team player with minimal supervision and can perform under time constraints.
  • Demonstrates a “can do” spirit, a sense of optimism, ownership, and commitment.
  • Intellectually curious seeking opportunities for improvement through learning, development, and feedback.
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
  • A Hanover and Sales Excellence brand ambassador acting as a professional consultant for internal and external stakeholders.
