The resort consists of 494 guest rooms, a 64-acre nature reserve, the Rasa Ria Reserve, home to wildlife including long-tailed macaques and slow lorises, and home to an 18-hole championship golf course with picture-perfect views of Mt Kinabalu (a UNESCO World Heritage site).

We're looking for Commis or aspiring to be required for our Culinary Division in various kitchens.

Job Summary

  • Maintains high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s), according to the standards set by the Management.
  • To be responsible for works assigned by supervisors such as mise-en-place as well as buffet set-up.

Requirements

  • Relevant kitchen / culinary experience in a 4/5 stars hotel or high-end restaurant is an advantage.
  • Certificate in culinary / kitchen.
  • Basic command of oral and written English. Local dialects and/or Mandarin an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge and experience in Food Safety Management - HACCP procedures and controls
  • Physically fit, customer oriented, can work in a team and is a self-starter.
  • Able to work on shifts, split shifts and flexible hours.
