Job Description

Business Development Manager - Industrial and Mass Market - Power Products Group - EMEA

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join Renesas. The primary focus of this role is to drive growth within the power business by designing- in power products and expanding the pipeline of opportunities with industrial large vertical accounts and conducting promotional activities for mass market through distributor engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop relationships with key industrial large vertical accounts within the EMEA region to drive business growth leveraging the large Renesas power portfolio of products and solutions.
  • Find and generate a strong pipeline of opportunities through proactive lead generation, market research, and networking.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate target accounts and maximize design-in potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and engineering in product line, to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and engage in technical discussions to understand customer challenges and provide effective solutions, as well as influencing and shaping product roadmap based on customer feedback
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to power product groups.
  • Organize, participate and present in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote our power products to the mass market segment.
  • Collaborate with distributors to implement promotional activities, drive sales growth, and establish strong partnerships.
  • Provide market updates, and competitive intelligence to the management team.
  • Meet or exceed DIN and pipeline targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the power product group and Renesas overall.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of power products and their applications in industrial and mass market segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual with a driven mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English. Additional languages such as German, French, or Italian would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the EMEA region.
