Your Job
To review the sales order, create, release, coordinate, monitor, expedite the Production Schedule to meet customer’s requirement. Monitor and improve CRD (Customer Request Date), MPD (Molex Promise Date), reduce overdue backlog and other assignments according to the department’s target.
Our Team
This position will be under Materials Department, report directly to the Materials Manager and coordinate with all manufacturing related departments and Account Management Team.
What You Will Do
- Review sales order through SAP system then create and release Production Planning to support the customer demand with appropriate lead time and inventory level to achieve the customer requirement date (CRD) and achieve monthly revenue forecast.
- Review and utilize production capacity base on sales order and demand forecast. Anticipate with suddenly increasing or decreasing in capacity requirement.
- Work together with engineering and production on the capacity shortage or allocation on the additional equipment and manpower.
- Expedite all the overdue orders and drive operation team to resolve the issues which will be affect the production plan to minimize the impact to the delivery plan.
- Coordinate with Sustaining account management, CSR to confirm the delivery schedule for the sales order.
- Get involve the AQP (Advance Quality Planning) team to support production planning for Sample order, Engineering Evaluation Request, First Order and Mass production order to meet schedule date.
- Issue a weekly revenue forecast report and Lead meeting to monitor the progression of monthly revenue and coordinate with related function to remove the barriers which are impacted to production plan and monthly revenue target.
- Issue Monthly Revenue report and Overdue backlog report to concerned department and follow up the root cause and corrective action.
- Coordinate with Purchasing/ logistics team to expedite materials and confirm incoming shipments to meet customer demand/urgent shipment request.
- Prepare weekly shipment spreadsheet with logistic instruction and communicate to all concerned department: QA, Production, Warehouse, Import & Export and Account management.
- Other assignment to support department’s objective.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Minimum 2-3 years in capacity planning, production planning.
- SAP systems knowledge in PP (Production Planning) module.
- Good command of written & spoken English skilled and computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environment.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
