POSITION SUMMARY: Senior Vice President, Regional Manager. This individual will be responsible for providing proactive strategic leadership for the development and growth of several branches spread over several states. A strong background in in leadership, developing sustainable business strategies, critical issue resolution, and monitoring / refining policies and procedures to drive quality, accuracy, and efficiency is required. Participate in the senior leadership group that will develop long term strategies for growth and profitability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (All are Essential job functions):

  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of TRISTAR businesses, objectives, products, and services. Help ensure that our messaging resonates with our clients and brokers and speaks to our claims solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of all TRISTAR products and services and how they are best deployed for specific clients and/or carriers
  • Partner with Company President, Compliance Department, and senior leadership on all operational initiatives, requirements, and enhancements to maintain operational efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency across all claim unit operations.
  • Work with IT to further develop systems and reports for managers and clients.
  • Leverage cross-functional departments to maximize process efficiencies.
  • Thorough knowledge of multiple client’s industry and business drivers
  • Work independently, collaboratively and in a leadership role with clients, brokers, carriers, and TRISTAR team members.
  • Responsible for profit and loss, quality, human resources, product development and strategic relationships and policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that TRISTAR specific policies and procedures are followed, including Company best practices and use of strategic business partners.
  • Lead a team of claims management leaders, as well as their direct reports.
  • Identify opportunities for client program efficiencies, respond to questions or concerns, resolve problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on client’s business needs and goals.
  • Lead projects and business planning meetings, working closely with C-Suite level engagement to develop and influence long-term strategy
  • Prepare for and attend client and prospect meetings, industry events, broker & carrier partners.
  • Review and expand on vendor contracts to maximize profit share and delivery of quality service
  • Work with corporate realtor, local managers and building managers to take care of office construction, relocation, and/or configuration.
  • Work with Carrier partners to expand service offerings.
  • Attend and present at Board of Directors meetings.
  • Assess market competition to evaluate new opportunities that can be developed to stay ahead of the industry.
  • Support marketing and sales efforts including attendance at industry events and presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred. Minimum of fifteen years of successful TPA or other industry experience required. Knowledge of workers compensation, auto, general liability and property programs. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) Travel, as required. Excellent organizational and time management skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned job locations.
  • Ability to work shifts usually exceeding 8 hours, 5 days per week.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time. Certain times of the year will exceed that.
  • Ability to interact with employees of all levels and clients in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to concentrate and think strategically.
  • Ability to travel for short periods of time with very limited notice.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to quickly recognize incorrect data in reports.
  • Understanding of industry pricing models for each line of business
  • Knowledge of key strategic business partners for each line of business
  • Availability to work onsite at branch locations on a rotating basis.
  • Proficient in the use a software to design and produce reports from claims system.
  • Ability to review and analyze data and information.
