Reporting to the VP/GM - Healthcare, the person in this role coordinates the sales order entry, customer correspondence and customer contact to ensure efficient handling of all customers. Provides outstanding value and commitment to the organization in the most cost-effective manner within quality standards. Provide the highest quality, greatest value, and best customer service in the industry by constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and by eliminating waste using LEAN techniques.

Responsibilities

About the Role: 

  • Achieves customer satisfaction and continual improvement by reviewing and confirming orders, addressing customer complaints, returns and credits and updating customer records.
  • Ensures standards for all customer service processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Commitment to deploying the LEAN principles to reduce waste throughout the department.
  • Monitors lead times and follow up with customers as dates and capacity changes.
  • Enters, reviews, and provides quotes to sales teams for communication to existing and potential customers.
  • Achieves KPI’s as established by the VP/GM-Healthcare.
  • Solicits and routes all customer specification to guarantee compliance and service requirements.
  • Participates and engages in assigned project teams.
  • Participates in customer site visits including conducting tours, participating in customer meetings, and travelling occasionally to customer sites.
  • Maintains effective lines of communication with Production Shift Leader, Team Leaders, and other departments as appropriate.

Pay Range: 

  • $50,000 - $60,000 annual

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Understands LEAN terminology.
  • 3 or more years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
