VP, Trading System - Analytics Lead, Investment Trading and Technology, Technology & Operations - (24000054)

The Team:

The Credit Trading Analytics team is part of the Investment Trading and Technology (ITT) division at DBS and is responsible for designing and building auto-quoting tools and solutions while also helping traders uncover patterns and assimilate market information.

Who are we looking for:

This is a Trading Systems Team Lead role who is able to communicate and collaborate effectively with the Credit Trading Desk. As a Team Leader, you will be analytical and advise on the design and build of automated and machine learning based OTC trading tools. Your ability to bridge the gap between the business and the tech team will be instrumental for this role.

Qualifications and Experience:

Core Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in leading a tech team in the Credit Trading/ Treasury domain
• Strong understanding in trading systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, Refinitiv)
• Past experience in building and designing trading tools
• Good understanding of Auto-execution trading workflows utilising machine learning models in an OTC trading setting
• Good understanding of Data Analysis in relation to Business Process Modelling
• Experience in SQL-based RDBMS, BI powered tools (e.g. Tableau), and programming languages (e.g. Python) will be a plus

Highly Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess the impact of situations and take decisive actions.
• Innovative mindset with a high level of motivation to deliver business impact
