Duties

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Division’s Knowledge Management Program. Coordinates with employees, managers, and executives throughout the Division and Corporate University (CU) to initiate the development of training or other efforts to support Divisional goals and initiatives, and to assess the efficacy of these efforts.
  • Lead teams of subject matter experts, when necessary, to develop knowledge management solutions to address complex developments or emerging risks in the compliance oversight of financial institutions and consumer affairs.
  • Identify, collect, synthesize, organize, and manage organizational knowledge in support of units within the Division. This includes accumulating, understanding and leveraging knowledge about the various compliance and consumer affairs activities performed by Division employees and how those activities strengthen the confidence of regulatory partners and the public in the nation's financial system.
  • Lead the Division’s knowledge transfer efforts. Oversees the development and execution of strategies to identify and bridge existing and anticipated knowledge gaps.
  • Lead the execution of the Division’s Learning and Professional Development program and ensures the Division’s related directive(s) are updated as needed.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Division’s Professional Development Plan and update Core Competencies and Skills Assessments as needed.
  • Develop strategies to improve accessibility to knowledge and information.
  • Direct the Division’s internal communication program to timely notify management of critical information relating to Division operations and strategies as well as to inform staff of changes in regulations, procedures, guidance, or other emerging issues.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management authority and performs the full range of performance management duties to include: planning, assigning, and reviewing work products of subordinates; establishing guidelines and performance expectations; and evaluating work performance and providing feedback to others on their performance.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications, applicants must possess the leadership and technical experiences listed below. These qualifications would typically be gained through serving in roles that require managing projects/teams or guiding the technical work of others.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must submit a resume that addresses each minimum qualification experience. Leadership Experience: Experience leading and coordinating projects, including establishing expectations, reviewing work products/services, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and feedback to team members.

Technical Experience: Experience in conducting, analyzing, evaluating, and leading corporate-wide knowledge management programs.
