LOCATION: Shanghai

ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the LOCATION office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN

The AMD University Program is seeking an intern with an interest in heterogenous accelerated computing applications AMD GPU, Versal and FPGA in our group located in Shanghai China for a period of 12 months (negotiable). This is an exciting position working on the latest heterogenous accelerated computing hardware and software technologies from AMD. The role will give successful candidates the benefit of professional guidance from an experienced team, alongside the ability to grow both personally and professionally.

Education:

• Studying towards Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related subject

Preferred Skills: 

• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Strong Linux Operating System knowledge
• Strong with Computer Architecture knowledge
• Familiarity with GPU or parallel computing technologies
• Familiarity with LLVM, MLIR technologies is a plus
• Excellent teamwork & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
