SUMMARY:

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Own, create, and maintain master production schedule driven from weekly production plan provided by supply planning team
• Drive collaborative alignment with the plants on all planning parameters that are critical to the creation of the master schedule 
• Ensuring that the production schedules and deadlines are met 
• Making adjustments or corrections to the production schedules as and when required
• Interface with plants and co-manufacturers to drive daily actions as needed to predict schedule attainment and adherence issues and take corrective action in advance 
• Collaborate with operations on improvement opportunities within scheduling to support plant output efficiencies, minimize changeovers and downtime, and improve the overall cost structure 
• Interface with supply planning to share insights regarding variances in short-term real-time variances to production plan that need to be escalated and actions driven to support service and inventory targets
• Work across cross-functional teams to react to find solutions to supply challenges as they arise
• Review plant daily performance to fill out tracking information
• Manage aging/ distressed WIP inventory to minimize loss 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The Associate should have an Associate Degree and/or equivalent and:

• Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training in a related Business or Operations discipline is preferred
• Experience with MRP/ Supply Chain role
• Experience working in food processing/manufacturing environment 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail. History of proven quantitative analysis and advanced excel skills required
• Experience with utilizing end to end supply planning software applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent Mathematics skills; numerical proficiency 
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
• Ability to work in a team environment with Operations.
