The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with the company's managers to develop HR agenda that will support the overall goals of the company. He/she coordinates with the management to put in place the policies and practices of the employees of the company that are aligned to the operational needs of the business.

What does a day in the life of an HR Business Partner look like?

  • Administers behavioral interviews on all supervisory and managerial internal candidates and partners with the hiring manager on final hiring, transfer, and promotion decisions.
  • Facilitates and documents skip-level meetings, FGD, coffee sessions, HR Huddles, and NHO within Cluster
  • Handles Internal Job Sourcing and Internal Pre-On-Boarding
  • Conduct employee new hire orientation/training to foster a positive attitude towards organizational objectives
  • Conducts exit interview of resigning employee and prepare a monthly summary report of the same for the information and basis of action of management including RAG Tagging
  • Review disciplinary action of cases to erring employees.
  • Prepares the Monthly Suspension/Termination/Separation Report for submission to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to cover risks
  • Facilitates the management team to bring the best solutions for employees
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Develops HR team members so they can become HR Business Partners Manages and leads a team of HR Consultants
  • Builds a strong business relationship within Cluster
  • Constructively delivers positive and negative feedback to Function Heads, Operations Managers, and Team Managers via coaching or mentoring
  • Act as the professional contributor to the HR organization, representing the HRBP Manager in a cluster capacity within the organization
  • Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit and cluster.
  • Act as an HR account management model, including the capability to support unique business requirements inherent to being embedded as HRBP to the admin and operations teams
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally
  • Acts as a member of the HR Management Team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of an HR Business Partner?

  • Must have at least 2 years experience as an HR Practitioner – HR Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Officer, Team Leader, Supervisory, or Assistant Manager.
  • Holds a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field or equivalent knowledge and understanding.
  • Must have exposure to Human Resources Management, Hiring, Developing Standards, Foster Teamwork, Management Proficiency, Managing Profitability, Promoting Process Improvement, Building Relationships, People Skills, and Retaining Employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with employees and suppliers at all levels.
  • Proactive, Proficiency with employee relations, people champions, Excellent stakeholder management, and developing good work relationships across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability with training and development programs. Good change management and project management capabilities
  • Knowledgeable in any HRIS
  • Knowledgeable in MS and Google Office.
