About the job

You will be responsible for the business result and strategic development in our distribution sales for the Nordic countries. You can see opportunities and willing to make changes to optimize. Distribution sales is an integrated part of our business in each market unit, and the technical and operational support will be provided by the Market Area Sales teams. A very close cooperation with each market unit is essential.

As Distribution Manager you are responsible for all processes concerning strategic distribution sales. Such as:

  • Developing and validating business plans for new areas of business (new industry, process, or application) and/or revised approaches to an established business.
  • Driving the validation of the business plan with distributors.
  • Driving/supporting lead generation and positioning activities for new application.
  • Converting the business plan into material for sales.
  • Ensuring plan and execution of making new business into established business along with ownership in Sales Company and central organization.
  • Supporting related sales activities and claim resolutions.

You will participate in mandatory meeting in Alfa Laval for distribution related areas and also to network with the organization, to create best practices.

What you know

You probably have a degree in engineering and are an experienced within channel sales, with proven strategic approach. You´re professional yet easy to cooperate with. You know the market in the Nordic countries and are able to communicate with channels in Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
