The Product Owner Master Data Management Platform is accountable for the delivery and managing of the global master data management platforms. The main focus will be on the delivery of the new Master Data Platform HeiSoul for the Digital Backbone. The Product Owner is the main accountable for the platform. They understand the customer needs and converts them into a workable product in line with the product guidelines and roadmaps. The product owner operates as part of the devops team(s) and enables delivery of potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint.
The Product Owner will be working as part of the product devops team and supports the designing, building and delivering of expertise and support of the platform. You will work alongside the current Product Owner on the delivery of the platform. In your role as product owner you will work on the strategy of HEINEKEN and ensure that the platform contributes to this strategy.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Prioritizing the backlog
- Stakeholder management and communication
- Owns the end-to-end budget for the product, e.g. resources, investment, consultancy and technology
- Delivery of the product increment against the plan
- Collaborate with technology vendors and our delivery partners on their technology roadmaps to meet future demand and optimize the service delivery to our internal customers
- Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and MDM best practices; and evaluate them for applicability
- Provides guidance and coaching to other product team members
- Verifies the implementation—ensure the delivered system is consistent with the the requirements
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision making
- Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
- Extensive knowledge of Reference and Master Data
- Inspiring leader with strong relationships within HEINEKEN organization to influence, support and drive priorities
- Knows how to delegate
- Knows how to own leadership, people and stakeholder management skills
- A deep understanding of the business and the importance of creating business value
- Experience in an Agile environment & knows how to prioritise
- An entrepreneurial mind-set and the ability to connect with internal and external audiences including senior stakeholders
- Able to push back, but also to pull when necessary
