Primary product focus
Data services include IP Transit through our IP/IPx PoPs, bandwidth (Wet, backhaul, IRU, Dark fiber, WDM, Ethernet) through our subsea/ terrestrial infrastructure and CDN services through on CDN PoPs in Africa.
Security services include DDOS protection, Vulnerability assessment
Prospect, negotiate and agree on commercial contracts in order to achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives on the client and prospect portfolio.
Manage relationships with customers and internal entities such as Marketing, Engineering, billing, Delivery, Sourcing, etc
Through direct calling, email and other contact efforts identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities by working directly with Key Decision Makers
Country/product strategy and plan development to ensure target attainment across the assigned territory
An energetic, self-starter with excellent self-initiatives, expert business sense in identifying qualifying & generating new business and developing business
You must be able to demonstrate your ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research
You must have the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
Previous 5 years sales experience with a track record of success selling to Content Providers is required
Previous IP backbone solutions knowledge is required
Previous experience of selling Dark Fiber essential
Strong oral and written communication is required
Fluency in English is essential – fluency in French is desirable
