He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Wesley Community Centre and Roskill Youth Zone are treasured community spaces and home to an exciting range of community programmes and events. We offer programmed and community-led activities as well as venue for hire spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and community-minded team and add your warmth and energy to the alive and inviting environment. This is a full-time 40 hours per week position.

Day to day, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure venues are safe, functional and welcoming places.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of Wesley Community Centre and Roskill Youth Zone
  • Welcome every visitor and provide information and assistance to ensure the visitor experience is rewarding and enjoyable, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the Auckland Council services.
  • Support in the operational management, administration and performance of community facilities.
  • Provide administration and organisational support to the Wesley Markets (Twice weekly)

This is a 40 hour full-time position. It requires flexibility as assistance may be required at activities outside of 9am to 5pm.
